What is it?
Audio-Visual connections allows you to create different patterns made of sounds, colours, shapes and people.
Phisically Audio-Visual connections is a mat on which seven coloured shapes show the interactive points. Any pressure on them makes a sound and projects different shapes that seem to get far from the pressed point.
The seven sounds can be different according to the use of the mat: they can be simple notes of the musical scale, chords or sounds of different instruments, that can produce real soundtracks for your performances.
The shapes assume various colour (from warm to cold ones) and shapes, for instance concave for warm sounds and colours and convex for piercing ones.
How does it work?
The simple interaction of Audio-Visual connections gives it versatility in its uses and in the possible end users.
Everyone who is curious and that likes to play with the new-media, can use it.
Another important point in the creation of Audio-Visual connections was considering the social aspect of the project: because of its qualities it can be used by a user or by many users. People can create groups and start to create a real studied performances, or they can be strangers and improvise!!!
